About the MCP server
Is the MCP server free?
No — MCP access is a Pro feature. It's built for daily, programmatic use from an agent, not a one-time scan, so it isn't included on the Free plan.
Which clients does it work with?
Any MCP client that supports remote Streamable HTTP servers. Cursor connects natively with a custom header. Claude Desktop and Claude Code connect through the mcp-remote bridge, since Claude Desktop's config only supports local servers directly.
Can my agent publish to LinkedIn for me?
No. schedule_post adds a reminder to your LinkedIQ planning calendar — it never posts to LinkedIn automatically. Every LinkedIQ tool, MCP included, stops short of auto-publishing.
What can my agent actually see?
Only what the seven tools expose: post text you send it to analyze, your voice profile, an analytics summary, and your planning calendar. Every call is scoped to your account by your API key.
Is there a rate limit?
100 calls per hour and 1,000 per day per key. Feature-level quotas, like post analysis limits, are shared with the rest of your Pro plan.
How is this different from other MCP integrations?
Some competitor MCP integrations can publish or schedule directly against a connected LinkedIn account. LinkedIQ's MCP follows the same zero-publish, zero-connection policy as the rest of the product — your agent can analyze, draft, and queue planning reminders, but you always do the actual posting.
